We have all seen those tiny flower clusters. Little treasures on the forest floor. This stone is one of the two cut from a river rock found by my daughter. I suspect that it is ruby in ziozite. Hangs on a simple 18" chain with a lobster clasp.

Hard to find stone mined near the Charoite River in Russia. The supply is uncertain. Dark violet perfect 1 1/4" round stone interspersed with lavender set in a scalloped sterling bezel. Hangs on a simple 18" long and short cable chain secured with a lobster clasp.

Named after the ram-horned god Ammon, these fossils are over 450 million years old. The nautilus shape is one of nature's recurring patterngs. Light and ddark gray with black markings in a matrix of golden and dark brown. Highly polished and set in a generous 1/4" bezel. Solid sterling fused medalion lightly oxidized then polished so that the highlights are brought out. Made to resemble a large irregularly round antique coin. Hangs from a slightly oxidized 18" long and short cable chain. Approximately 1 1/2" inch in diameter.

Subdued polish on the high points of this fused Roman cross focuses the eye on the center. One inch wide and 1 1/4" high, it is substantial without being heavy. Hangs beautifully on a 20" short and long lightly oxidized chain.

Before the advent of plastic, horn was regularly used in jewlery making. This material is black and takes a rich shine without looking like plastic. Cut as an irregular rectangle, it measures approximately 1 3/4" tall and 3/4" wide. A matte sterling Star of David, positioned slightly off-center dominates the ebony rectangle. This unusualy piece hangs from an 18" snake chain.
